Primary Care Team

  • Family Doctor: Includes diagnosis, treatment, follow-up, and maintenance of care for chronic diseases and routine screenings for early disease detection & prevention.

  • Lab Requisition: Ordering necessary laboratory tests or imaging studies to gather diagnostic information and confirm conditions.

  • Driver's Exam: A specialized evaluation to assess whether a person is medically fit to drive, focusing on vision, reflexes, and overall health.

  • Acute Conditions & Walk-in Services: Diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up for acute diseases for existing patients and walk-in patients as availability allows.

  • Injection & Routine Vaccinations: Administering and/or recommending various select injections, such as vaccines, or other necessary medical treatments for adults and children.

  • Referral: Referring patients to specialists, diagnostic centers, or other healthcare providers when advanced or specialized care is necessary.

  • Complete Forms: Helping patients complete required forms for insurance claims, medical leave, disability benefits, and other documentation.

  • ICBC and WCB Claims: Assisting with claims related to workplace injuries (WCB) or Injury Claim (ICBC), providing medical documentation to support the claims process.

  • Assist with injection of routine vaccinations (Tetanus, Pneumonia, etc)
  • Assess and inject select travel vaccines and other private self-pay vaccines (Shingles, HPV, etc)
  • Inject select injectable medications
  • Yearly Flu and COVID vaccinations

BC Residents with chronic conditions that require taking 5 or more medications in the past 6 month may be eligible for a free consultation with our pharmacists to better understand their current medication therapies to optimize their health

Non-residents and visitors may also self-pay to receive this service

BC residents who suffer from select minor ailments or acute conditions may be able to receive expedited care by seeing a pharmacist who are now able to assess and if appropriate, prescribe, for a list of minor ailments listed HERE :

  1. Acne/pimples

  2. Allergic rhinitis/allergies/hay fever

  3. Conjunctivitis/pink eye (allergic, bacterial or viral)

  4. Dermatitis/skin rash (allergic, atopic, contact, diaper or seborrheic)

  5. Dysmenorrhea/menstrual pain

  6. Dyspepsia/stomach upset/indigestion

  7. Fungal infections on body, feet, nails, etc (onychomycosis, tinea corporis infection, tinea cruris infection or tinea pedis infection)

  8. Gastroesophageal reflux disease/acid reflux

  9. Headache

  10. Hemorrhoids

  11. Herpes labialis/cold sores

  12. Impetigo/school sores

  13. Musculoskeletal pain/muscle & joint & bone pain

  14. Nicotine dependence/smoking cessation

  15. Oral ulcers (canker sores, aphthous ulcers)

  16. Oropharyngeal candidiasis (oral thrush, fungal infection of the oral cavity)

  17. Shingles

  18. Threadworms and pinworms

  19. Urinary tract infection (uncomplicated)

  20. Urticaria/hives & itch, including insect bites

  21. Vaginal candidiasis/yeast infection
  22. Emergency contraception (Many options are free for BC Residents)

  23. Contraception/birth control (oral pills, vaginal rings, contraceptive injection) *Many options are free for BC Residents*

 

BC Residents may receive the Minor Ailment service from pharmacists for free, Non-Residents or visitors may also self-pay to receive this service

Simply ask for this service in person at our pharmacy counter or book through the government booking portal HERE (Select our location CRC Drugs if you wish to receive the service at our location)

Care@Home Medication management

We will coordinate with your prescribers as well as your caretakers to ensure the continuity of care and send them updates to your condition frequently.

We are also able to respond rapidly to any changes your prescribers want to implement and are able to adjust medication & doses on the fly based on protocols set by your prescribers

If you are currently under the homecare support of a Health Authority we may also be able to work with them to deliver more frequent care

With our licensed nurses visiting everyday we are able perform additional clinical tasks such as in-home vaccine administrations, insulin injections, on-site medication crushing, and much more!
