Booking Specific Services
When booking specific services (e.g., Pap test, injection, prenatal check-up), ensure to mention your requirements during the booking process.
Virtual appointment
Patients must be ready to receive the video or phone call at the scheduled time and remain in a quiet, private place free from distractions. Avoid scheduling a virtual consultation during work hours, while commuting, or in public spaces. Allow at least 30 minutes for your appointment.

Our policy is 48 hours’ notice to receive any requests to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Changes are not finalized until you have received confirmation by a staff member.

Appointments missed without the advanced notice as outlined above may be subject to a fee to compensate us for the time and resources allotted to you.

If you are late or no show for your appointment, there may not be adequate time to address your concerns. You may be asked to book another appointment. If you are more than 10 minutes late for your appointment, you will have missed your time slot.

Any late arrival for over 10 minutes or no show for your appointment as outlined above may be subject to a fee to compensate us for the time and resources allotted to you.

- Specialist Physician: $100

- Pap Test: $100

- Injection/Immunization Review: $100

- Liquid Nitrogen: $100

Uninsured services include, but are not limited to:

- Consultation without valid Canadian medical insurance: $185

- Liquid nitrogen (non-MSP conditions): $100 per lesion

- Injection Fee: $25

- Physician’s Note/Statement: $35 and up

- Driver’s Medical Exam: $160 (Blue form) / $230 (Yellow form)

- Form completion (with examination): $180 and up

- Form completion (without examination): $65 and up

- Employment/School Physical Exam: $180

- Disability Tax Credit Form: $180

- SPARC Parking Permit Form: $65

- Medical Chart Transfer: $65 and up

- Printing fee: $1 per page for files over 5 pages

All posted charges are subject to change without notice.

We accept cash, e-transfer, debit cards and credit cards (a 2% POS fee applies). All fees for uninsured services must be paid in full before receiving the service.

We are committed to providing a safe, secure, and respectful environment for all patients and staff. Words or actions that are deemed inappropriate will not be tolerated. The individual(s) may be asked to leave, the police may be called, and/ or the individual(s) may face dismissal from CRC Health Centre.

For each visit, please try to focus on your primary concern or problem. You may run out of time if you save up multiple problems for a single appointment. You may be asked to book a separate appointment to spend the appropriate amount of time on your concerns. If necessary, we will discuss plans for any other medical issues in future visits. We encourage patients to respect the time of others who are also waiting and need medical care. Appointments that are delayed past regular business hours may need to be rescheduled.

We provide services for patients from other provinces. We do not have the ability to verify the validity of your provincial insurance plan in a timely manner. We request that a $50 deposit be made for each appointment. Please contact the clinic after 14 business days to request a refund of your deposit, if applicable. If your provincial insurance plan is invalid, we will show you the documentation and you may forfeit your deposit and required to make up the price difference of a consultation .

Walk-in Availability
CRC Health Centre offers access to same-day or walk-in services based on availability. Due to high demand, walk-in availability is not guaranteed, and wait times may vary. For same-day appointments, call (604) 285-3222 and press 3 to leave your name, contact number, date of birth, Care Card number, and the reason for your visit. Staff will contact you if a slot becomes available.

Check in at the front desk upon arrival.

Provide at least one of the following: photo ID or Care Card.

Wait times depend on the physician’s availability and patient volume.

We can offer you a private consultation, based on the availability of our physicians. However, we cannot guarantee that an appointment will be available upon your visit.

If we are able to book your consultation, the fee will be $185 CAD, excluding any additional services such as prescriptions, tests, or other treatments.

Please note that you will need to present a valid government-issued photo identification at the time of your appointment.

To change or cancel an appointment
We can change or cancel your appointment 2 business days before your appointment date. Changes are not finalized until confirmed by our staff. Late changes may result in a fee depending on the type of appointment.

I haven't seen my specialist in a long time, what should I do?
If you lost follow-up for 18 months, we suggest you have your family doctors or practitioner to write a referral again
I feel really unwell, what should I do?
If this is an emergency, please directly attend to your local emergency room.

Please let us know if you have sudden change of your sign/symptoms, we could always let your specialist know for advices. We will get back to you as soon as we receive a response from the doctor and it might take days or weeks.

Therefore, we still recommend you book an appointment with your family doctors or practitioner and arrange some treatments or investigations right away.
I used up my medication, what should I do?
Please always check how many medicine left in your hands and prepare to refill your medication 2-4 weeks before it's used up

ECG
An electrocardiogram (ECG) records the heart's electrical activity using electrodes placed on the chest and limbs to detect rhythm abnormalities, ischemia, or structural issues. It helps diagnose arrhythmias, heart damage, or ischemia and monitors heart conditions or treatment effects, with results displayed as a graph for analysis
Holter Monitor (2 Weekly)
The Holter monitor is a portable device worn for 14 days to continuously record heart rhythms to detect infrequent arrhythmias or symptoms like palpitations, dizziness, or fainting that might not be caught in a standard ECG. Electrodes attached to the chest connect to a small device worn during daily activities for comprehensive heart activity tracking.
Holter Monitor (24 Hours)
The 24-hour Holter monitor works similarly to the 14-day version but records ECG data continuously for 24 hours, capturing transient arrhythmias or heart abnormalities that may occur during normal daily activities or sleep. Electrodes are attached to the chest, and the device monitors heart activity throughout the day and night.
Stress Test
A stress test evaluates heart function under physical or simulated stress to detect blood flow or rhythm issues. It helps diagnose coronary artery disease, assess exercise tolerance, or evaluate the effectiveness of treatments. During the test, a patient exercises on a treadmill or stationary bike while their heart rhythm, blood pressure, and breathing are monitored. Medications may simulate exercise if necessary.
24-Hour BP Monitoring
A 24-hour blood pressure monitor is a wearable cuff that measures blood pressure at regular intervals throughout the day and night. It tracks hypertension patterns, evaluates treatment effectiveness, and detects conditions like nocturnal hypertension or white-coat syndrome. The cuff inflates periodically, recording and storing blood pressure readings for later analysis.
